Furesøen

The deepest lake in Denmark

Feel the wind in you hair while you sail around Furesøen that, with a depth of almost 40 meters, is the deepest lake in Denmark. Here is nature and culture. Hear the birds chirp as you sail pass the area Vaserne where more than 180 bird species live. From the boat you can see old historic buildings along the lakefront, such as Næsseslottet and the old mill at Frederiksdal.

If the weather is sunny and you feel like going for a swim, you can hop off at Furesøbad. Here people have been invited to enjoy a day on the beach in the middle of the forest since the start of the 20th century.

You decide whether you want to sit back and relax on the 1 hr and 50 min. tour or hop off at one at the stops along the way. See the route on the map below.
