The History of Baadfarten

Since the early 1890s, Baadfarten has been offering boat tours on Bagsværd Lake, Lyngby Lake, and Furesøen. The historical wooden boats are steeped in history and two of the six boats used today, Prince Christian and Princess Alexandrine, date back to the 19th century.

Surrounded by lush nature, each of the three lakes offers its own unique charm and array of activities.  Lean back and enjoy a full roundtrip, or hop off and explore at some stops along the route. Escape the city bustle and unwind on a scenic Baadfarten boat tour.

Baadfarten is open from May to September. Check our timetables for all lakes.
